Our recipe for success: Anticipating outcomes. Samson & Partner was founded by Friedrich R. von Samson-Himmelstjerna in 1983. Since then it has grown to a mid-sized patent law firm. Our vast experience in implementing patents and trademarks benefits our clients right from the outset, i.e. during the procurement of intellectual property rights. Our head office is situated in Munich, Germany, in direct proximity to the European Patent Office (EPA) and the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA). Furthermore, we have our own representation in Alicante, Spain. This provides us with direct contact to the European Harmonization Office, which is responsible for EU trademarks and designs. We are members in the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys and the European Patent Institute (epi). Relevant professional regulations are the Patentanwaltsordnung (BGBl. I 1966, 557 and BGBl.
