Michael Fischer

Michael Fischer

Patent attorney Michael Fischer studied computer science, computational linguistics and mathematics at Technical University Munich (TUM) and Ludwig-Maximilian-University (LMU) Munich. The main focus of his studies was centered around theoretical and technical computer science. He wrote his master thesis in bioinformatics on algorithms for computing molecular similarity in computer-aided drug design. During his studies, he did industry internships in Princeton and Oslo in the fields of Augmented Reality and computer security. At TUM, he taught tutorials on introductory lectures in computer science and on discrete mathematics. He is alumni of the Center for Digital & Technology Management (CDTM), an interdisciplinary institution of education and research and joint venture between the LMU and TUM. He speaks English and French fluently.

His activities in intellectual property rights lie in the field of technical computer science, in particular in the fields of computer and telecommunication networks, computer security, cryptography, color management and printing technology.
