Dr. Wolfgang von Hörsten Dr. von Hörsten studied Physics at the Universities of Berlin and Munich. He was awarded a doctorate for a thesis on magnetic and electric properties of metals near the ferromagnetic phase transition. Dr. von Hörsten performed university research work in Grenoble, Utrecht and Munich in the fields of solid state physics with main focus on magnetism and phase transitions. Among his experimental research methods were neutrons diffusion as well as experiments under micro gravitation including the development of analog and digital control systems for the generation of high-precision temperature controls. In telecommunications he was active in the R&D department of Siemens AG in Berlin. For ten years he managed the department of physics at the University of Munich. Dr. von Hörsten is an established technical and scientific consultant in the field of patent law regarding proceedings of grant and appeal as well as actions of nullity or litigation.
