Thomas Kimpfbeck Thomas Kimpfbeck studied electrical engineering and information technology with main focus on communications engineering at the University of applied sciences of Rosenheim. His dissertation was concerned with the realization of multiple access communication by use of infrared LEDs. During his studies, he gained practical experience with Kathrein Werke KG, Rosenberger HF-Technik GmbH, Kathrein Indochina Co., Ltd. Rohde & Schwarz GmbH und Siemens AG. Thomas Kimpfbeck is the author of numerous popular science publications on communications and radio engineering as well as coauthor of two textbooks. His main technical fields are in general information and communications systems as well as digital signal processing, radio and mobile wireless communications.
