Matthias Pfister Matthias Pfister is German Patent Attorney. He has been working in the field of intellectual property protection since 2007. Mr. Pfister studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Ilmenau Technical University, at École Nationale Supérieure d'Électronique, d'Informatique et de Radiocommunications de Bordeaux (France), and at Kanazawa University (Japan). His studies were focussed on automation and systems engineering. His thesis was in the area of robotics. In the course of his studies Mr. Pfister gained practical experience in the development of a simulation device for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle and a collision detection software for a manipulator arm. During his training as a Patent Attorney Mr. Pfister worked at a renowned patent law firm in the USA for several months. The main technical fields of Mr. Pfister's work in our office are information and communications technology, sensing and detection engineering, robotics, controller system technology and medical systems.
